On Kim's last day we walked over the Brooklyn Bridge to spend the day on the other side of the East River, which was fun except for the maniac bike riders who seemed hell bent on running down all the pedestrians on the bridge.
On the other side we hit up Grimaldi's Pizza which looks like a dive but has a line snaking halfway down the block, even at 10 in the morning, and then waddled down the street to further stuff ourselves with ice cream from the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory. Good thing we did all that walking first.
Remember this? Well, we couldn't resist, we had to go find it. Briton had great hopes of getting himself assigned as a sidekick but alas, the shop was closed. Or perhaps you had to have super powers to know where the real entrance was. Either way, they had great signs.
Actually, this was a week for good signs. On the way to the Superhero shop we spotted this one.
And this, I couldn't agree more.
I'm still coming down off my Ice Cream and Pizza high. Fruit! I need Fruit! I wonder if they can put fruit on a cone at The Big Gay Ice Cream Store?
